DKB forgives 'girlfriend' Akuapem Poloo as he withdraws lawsuit against her (video) | ghanaspinn

DKB has indicated that he has forgiven Poloo and dropped charges levelled against her - According to him, some influential Ghanaians reached out to him to please on the actress's behalf - The comedian reported Poloo to the police and was going ahead to file a defamation suit against her

Derrick Kobina Bonney famed as DKB, has dropped the case he filed against his Rosemond Alade Brown known widely as Akuapem Poloo some days ago over defamation. DKB, in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh indicated that he had withdrawn the case he filed against Poloo even though she managed to defame his character. The comedian revealed that many widely known industry players both in and outside Ghana like Sonnie Badu, called him to plead on Poloo's behalf.

DKB also added that Poloo's mum called someone he (DKB) repects to plead with the person for over an hour to speak to DKB to drop the case.

Poloo’s mum is believed to have said that she was scared for her daughter because she could land into fresh trouble should DKB go ahead with the lawsuit. DKB said he was touched by the people who spoke to him so he decided to let Akuapem Poloo go scot-free. Not long ago, Akuapem Poloo was seen in a video alleging that one Mama Alice had called her to claim she had given out GHC4,000 to be given to her. Poloo said the supposed GHC4000 was given to DKB but she was yet to receive it and even added that she called DKB but her calls went unanswered. Out of anger and in reaction to Poloo’s claims, DKB went straight to the police station to file a case against Akuapem Poloo and indicated that she had defamed his character.
