 Rare incident indeed do happened sometimes. Whether good or otherwise they ought to be accepted as they appear.

 The report which spelt awe on listeners occured in Lagos, Nigeria. A popular dubai-based Lagos socialite, Kayode Badru, has been reported dead in a tragic anointing service accident

Report says the deceased had flew into the country to join some 40 students he gave scholarships to, who were graduating.

 Meanwhile he visited the Celestial Church of Christ for prayers and was asked to kneel down while surrounded by some elders and several lit candles.

 Reported says the deceased was given a lighted candle while he was prayed for.

“He was holding a candle then the prophet of the church, Felix Alebiosu, sprayed perfume on his body from his head to toe. Within a few minutes, his body caught fire. He suffered severe burns and was rushed to a hospital in Gbagada, Lagos. He died hours later,” an excerpt of the report.

 The Prophet, Felix Alebiosu allegedly took to his heels immediately after the incident occurred but was later arrested alongside two out of the seven elders.

The victims are reportedly in the Lagos police station whiles further investigation proceed.

 Meanwhile a release from the Celestial church of Christ said the exercise which yield the misfortune is not a part of the Church's rules of believe or tenants but was a foreign act which was learnt by some of the ministers.

“The spraying or pouring of undiluted spiritual perfume in its volatile state with a lighter candle is an imported culture not originally part of the tenants of the Celestial Church of Christ.

“While kneeling down, a prophet began to spray perfume on his body and he also held one candle in his hands surrounded by seven elders. Within a few minutes, his body was on fire due to his closeness to the candle sticks and strong attraction from the perfume.

"He was rushed to a hospital in Gbagada, where he eventually died. But before he died, he told me, my brother, I heard a voice telling me, “is this how you are going to end your life” and immediately I tried to understand what that means and all I heard was an explosion and I was feeling so hot with fire burning me.”

"My brother told me that the incident wasn’t natural and that if he died in this cause, his death would fight back. The shepherd in charge of the act, prophet Felix Alebiosu, ran away immediately the incident was reported at Panti. We went to arrest his dad, hours later he surfaced and the father was released the following day but he (Felix) came into the police custody without being remorseful. 

"Two out of the seven elders are in Police custody while others are at large. The two are not even talking sensibly, I think they are under a kind of spell. People must be careful before going into any church to worship.
