Pictures of doctors in Rasta hairstyle causes stir on the internet

In Ghana, your hairstyle gives an impression of who you are. I don't know who initiated this perception but it has really lived with us for a very long time. It started from the days of our forefathers and I am sure it is never going to fade.

Put on dreadlocks and whenever we see you, there is one thing that time comes to mind. You are seen as a very bad person, people eye you in a certain way which makes you feel you did something wrong. The same way, if you put on a low haircut or even a bald hairstyle, everybody assumes you are a very good person. I know these haircuts were invented from other cultures but let us not judge them when we see them. Some of them are good people.

This has been translated into our educational system. It is very difficult being admitted into a school if you have a dreadlocks or even a Rasta hairstyle. This isn't accepted, every school wants to see their students put on low cuts since it gives an impression that they are being trained well for the future.

Aside our educational system, it has also translated into our workplaces. Trust me, if you take dreadlocks to an interview in Africa, the probability of you being selected is absolutely zero. Well, no one wants to work with a bad person.

This is not so in other countries. They strongly believe that being good or bad depends on your heart as well as your mind and never the hairstyle or even the dress you put on. In this article, I am going to talk about some doctors who have been the talk in town.

One funny thing about them is that none of them have a low cut but that didn't stop the educational system of the country in which they lived from tolerating them.

It is all about the mindset and not the haircut. I am sure if they lived in some parts of Africa, it's either these dreams would have been discarded or they would have been in low haircuts.
