- Merqury Quaye has said that he wants to help DJs in Ghana form a strong union

 - According to him, DJing was also a science and a profession that should be rated highly

 This is what ghanaspinn.com believes in Multiple award-winning Ghanaian radio presenter and disc jockey, Merqury Quaye, has said that DJs in Ghana had to come together to form a strong trades union. 

While speaking in an exclusive interview with ghanaspinn.com. on Twitter dubbed #ghanaspinnwithMerquryQuaye, the top DJ said he was going to champion such a cause in the coming months

According to him, DJing was just like a science, and that the art had to be highly rated because it was not an easy deal. 

Merqury Quaye said the motive behind his call was to get DJs in Ghana to be respected and the profession to be rated with the likes of doctors and accountants. 

The organizer and owner of the Ghana DJ awards scheme said he was going to start creating educational platforms to set his idea into motion. 

Merqury Quaye was responding to a question posed to him by ghanaspinn.com which read: "Congratulations for creating the @ghanadjawards, which has pushed a lot of DJs to the fore and has created jobs. What’s next? #ghanaspinnWithMerquryQuaye"

 Meanwhile, award-winning Ghanaian artiste, Wendy Addo famed as Wendy Shay, has said that makers of a South African-produced Netflix movie have used her song without her consent. 

The actress, in a video posted on her official Instagram page videoed some parts of the movie which had her song, All For You playing.

Kalybos and Nigerian star Williams Uchemba were seen in the cut where the Shay On You singer's song was being played.
