Bounty Killer Teases Collabs With Vybz Kartel, Dexta Daps For New Album
With his forthcoming studio album King of Kingston on the way, Dancehall giant Bounty Killer has teased collaborations with Vybz Kartel and Dexta Daps to excite the fans even further.
The Warlord gave his 841k Instagram followers a snippet of the Kartel collab yesterday, where the incarcerated artist was heard carrying the hook, while Bounty dropped some fire verses about “stepping out with a bang again” and adding, “more money to di money-bag again.”
It seems the new mix with Kartel will appear among a number of other collaborations on the project, which Bounty said is being executive produced by Grammy Award-winning artist Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley.
Previous releases featuring Kartel and Killer include High Altitude (2006) with Baby G, In My Eyes with Wayne Marshall (2004), Gal Clown (2001), Full Up Of Grass (2006) with Bling Dawg.
Although there hasn’t been an official reveal of the tracklisting or guest features, the Warlord has been giving clues of who might be appearing on the new album on Instagram.
Along with the Kartel collab teaser today, he also shared an audio clip of an unreleased song with fellow Seaview Gardens native Dexta Daps and captioned the share, “Rodney Price Ms Ivy Son & Louis Grandison, K͙i͙n͙g͙ o͙f͙ K͙i͙n͙g͙s͙t͙o͙n͙ …”
